Getting Started

Installation
Download the Plugin
Get the latest version from GitHub or WordPress.org.

Install via WordPress
Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Upload the .zip file and click "Install Now".
Activate the Plugin
Click "Activate" and Reel It is ready to use!
Creating Your First Video Slider
Add Videos
Go to Reel It → Videos in your WordPress admin. Click "Add New" and upload your vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio recommended).
Link Products
For each video, search and select the WooCommerce products you want to feature. These will appear as shoppable cards.
Add the Block
Edit any page or post with the Block Editor. Add the "Reel It Slider" block and select which videos to display.
Customize & Publish
Adjust the block settings for layout, autoplay, and styling. Publish and watch engagement soar!
Best Practices
Use Vertical Videos
9:16 aspect ratio works best for the TikTok-style experience. Horizontal videos will be cropped.
Keep Videos Short
15-30 second videos perform best. Show the product in action quickly.
One Product Per Video
Focus on one hero product per video for best conversion rates. You can still add related products.
